APB Corporation (Corporate headquarters: Tokyo / CEO: Hideaki Horie; hereinafter “APB”), a developer of a next-generation lithium ion battery “All Polymer Battery,” is proud to announce that it will open “Kyoto Laboratory Office” (hereinafter “Kyoto Lab”) as its development hub.

The main focus of the Kyoto Lab will be designing the module in the development phase of the All Polymer Battery, and developing the platform of the BMS (Battery Management System).  By focusing APB’s development resources to the Kyoto Lab, located within “Kyoto Research Park” which has good access to other APB locations and business partners, APB will accelerate its development activities.
